On May 31, we will hold a Lay Entrustment Ceremony for senior Everyday Zen practitioners Christopher Dumbleton and Steve Gross. Lay Entrustment is a new tradition in our lineage of appreciating and empowering senior lay members of our sangha as revered elders. Having practiced for many years, received jukai, and served as shuso, Lay Entrusted Teachers are installed in a public ceremony as new teachers of the community.
In the form below, please select whether you will be attending online via Zoom or in person at the Community Congregational Church in Tiburon.
Attending in person? We require all in-person attendees to review and follow our current Covid protocols.
Upon registration, you’ll receive:
— Zoom login information
— A reminder email 24 hours before the event begins
Please arrive early with time to settle in. Chairs are provided. If you prefer to sit on a zafu, please bring your own.
Once you have registered (see above), you will be sent a confirmation email. You will also be sent a reminder email with the Zoom login information 24 hours before the event begins.
If you do not see the confirmation email within a few minutes of registering, please check your spam folder. Gmail users, please also check under the Promotions and Updates tabs in your inbox.

Suggested donation for ceremonies (in person or online): $10 or whatever you are comfortable contributing.
