Everyday Zen’s 18th Annual Practice Period begins with the All Day Sit and the Shuso Entering Ceremony on Saturday, January 28, and concludes on Saturday, April 8, with the Shuso Hossenshiki (Dharma inquiry), Closing Ceremony and a celebration of Buddha’s Birthday.
The theme for this Practice Period is “Where is my mind?” and the study text will be the Sūrangama Sutra, a seminal Chan sutra. Our Shuso will be Neal Shorstein (Myogen Kanyu; Clear Eye, Brave Friend).
