Please join us in person at the Community Congregational Church in Tiburon or online on Zoom for our annual Climate Repentance Ceremony, which includes the liturgical elements of the monthly Bodhisattva (Full Moon) Ceremony. The ceremony will take place during the last half hour or so of Dharma Seminar.
The Climate Repentance Ceremony consists of a short text by Thich Nhat Hanh called “Falling in Love with the Earth.” We will offer incense, do seated bows, and then community members will read the text with bells at the end of each section, for mindful reflection. The Bodhisattva (Full Moon) Ceremony is an ancient ritual of purification and renewal, in which the entire attending sangha participates.
