Online Reading: Ron Israel’s Poetry the Buddha Taught Me

Please join Ron Israel and members of the EDZ sangha for an online reading of poems from Ron’s new book, Poetry the Buddha Taught Me (Pegasus/Amazon). Readers will include Jaune Evans, Candace Slowe, Susan Moon, China Galland, and Marianne Johnson.

Ron is a long-time Buddhist practitioner who has been a member of the Everyday sangha for the past 3 years. Poetry the Buddha Taught Me is a collection of poems about the author’s everyday life experiences that relate to his understanding of Buddhist teachings .

The reading will be held on a special Zoom link provided by Ron, listed to the right (or below).

Ron & Fern’s Meet and Greet for Members of the EDZ Sangha

During their visit to the Bay area, Ron and Fern are interested in meeting and saying “hello” in-person to members of the Everyday Zen Sangha who they mostly have known online.

Therefore they are inviting all members of the Sangha to a tea and coffee meet and greet reception on Friday September 18 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM PT at the Claremont Hotel main restaurant in Berkeley.
