Norman Fischer and Sue Moon lead a three-day retreat at Green Gulch Farm, based on their book What Is Zen?
Whether you’ve been practicing Zen for a day, a year, or a lifetime, you’re welcome. We hope our time together will encourage the practice of beginners, refresh the practice of the venerable, and enliven the practice of everyone in between.
Each day of the 3-day retreat will include zazen and two short dharma talks, one by Norman and one by Sue, followed by extensive Q and A on the subject, whether that’s getting enlightened, saving all beings, or chopping wood and carrying water. Sessions will be filmed for use in a future online course by Shambhala Publications. By registering, you are consenting to being filmed for the course. Participation is limited.
A delicious vegetarian lunch will be provided each day, and the schedule will be light and relaxing. October is a beautiful time of year to walk in the Green Gulch Gardens or through the farm and down to the ocean.
You can register for one, two, or all three days. Registration is for day guests only.
