During the 2021 Practice Period (September 18 – November 20), we will be reading The Platform Sutra, a seminal text for Zen and for the Sinicization of Buddhism. We will primarily use Red Pine’s great translation of this text. As always, we will contemplate and discuss the text for its direct relevance to our practice, as we try to live the Dharma in the contemporary world of Everyday Zen.
Details
The seminar runs from 7-9 pm, starting with half an hour of zazen. To receive word of the dates and topics of upcoming seminars, please subscribe to the Everyday Zen News & Events mailing list.
Suggested Donation:
On Zoom: $40 for the monthly series ($10 per session) or whatever you are comfortable contributing.

As you know, these donations make the seminars possible. Of course, everyone is welcome and no one will ever be turned away for lack of funds.
