2024 Bay Area Sesshin: Online Registration

We’re pleased to again be offering our annual sesshin online via Zoom, sitting together for six days with the in-person sangha at Santa Sabina Center.

As with any sesshin, in signing up to join the sesshin on Zoom, you are making a commitment to follow the schedule and the guidelines of the Inos. Online participation in the sesshin is designed for those who sign up to sit the full sesshin. It is not offered as an opportunity for drop-in practice.

At the same time, we realize that not everyone will be able to follow the sesshin schedule in sync with the in-person sangha in Santa Sabina. If necessary, please adjust the schedule for yourself in advance according to your timezone and circumstances, without straying too far from the framework of sesshin, then follow that schedule for the duration of sesshin.

We will have limited support for online participants this year. As usual, a web page with resources for online participants, including suggestions for setting up your practice space, will be provided. Unfortunately, we will not be able to offer dokusan to online participants, but we will be offering practice discussion.

The suggested donation for joining the sesshin online is $150. Please give what you can to support Norman and his teachings and the increased costs to Everyday Zen of offering this sesshin online via Zoom.

The link for Zoom, along with the link to a shared resources page, will be sent in a ‘Welcome’ on the Sunday before the start of sesshin.
