May 2017 All Day Sitting
These traditional yet relaxed all day sittings begin at 9:00 am and include meditation, a silent lunch, dharma talk/discussion, and dokusan (private meeting with Norman or other teachers).
Suggested contribution for the All Day Sittings is $80 - 110 (sliding scale) which includes the $45 facility rental and lunch, tea/coffee plus a teacher donation. You can pay by cash or check at the sitting. Please let the Registrar know if you need a scholarship to help cover costs.

We very much appreciate receiving your registration no later than the Thursday before each sitting. Please register by responding to the monthly All Day Sitting email notice and also send a copy to email@example.com. You will receive an email confirmation from the Registrar within 3 days if your registration was successful. If you don't receive a confirmation message; try again. To get on the list to receive the announcements, send an email to our Registrar, Tom White, at firstname.lastname@example.org and include your phone number in your message.
Last minute registrations are always possible but you must bring your own lunch if you have not registered by the required date.
IMPORTANT - If your plans change, please immediately notify the registrar at email@example.com . We provide a final lunch count and attendance commitment to the Headlands by a 9:00 AM deadline on the Friday morning before our sitting. Please advise us of a cancellation no later than that deadline. If you must cancel after that time, please send the Registrar an email or text 510-579-1791 with the understanding that by registering you committed to pay the cost of EDZ's obligation to the Headlands Institute of $45/person .
What to bring: a zafu or bench, zabuton, mat or blanket. Padded chairs are available.
