Everyday Zen Dialogs - WHO ARE WE REALLY? Finding the Gifts of Imperfection
We spend much time and energy holding together an image of who we believe we’re supposed to be, or might like to be, while inside we push away those thoughts and feelings that don't neatly fit the image.
In coming together, we will explore a sense of wholeness that can never be lost or broken, and learn new ways to let this shine through the cracks and imperfections of our everyday lives.
This day-long session will be led by experienced teachers in the Zen tradition, skilled in helping individuals and groups explore in most concerns.
Activities will include meditation, guided writing exercises, and open-hearted discussion.
Everyday Zen Dialogs expand the reach of Everyday Zen, as an opportunity to deepen friendships and to welcome new people to practicing the Zen spirit in everyday life.
Cost: $40 plus a traditional donation (dana) to support the teachers. No one will be turned away for lack of funds (please contact the Registrar for scholorship information)
