Bodhisattva Precepts Study
The sixteen bodhisattva precepts are the heart of our tradition. They are both our deepest vows and practical, down-to-earth contemplations on how to live in this world with kindness and clarity.
This is an opportunity to study the precepts within the supportive community of Everyday Zen practitioners.
We’ll take one precept each month and focus on it in our daily lives. We will then come together to share what we’ve learned with honesty, vulnerability, humor, and kindness.
This exploration is open to everyone whether you’re preparing to take the precepts, have taken vows and want to refresh your vowing practice, or you wish to practice the precepts to ground more fully in living with compassion and clarity, independent of making formal vows.
These will occur on the last Wednesday of each month before the Wednesday night Dharma Seminar.
