Susan Moon

Susan Moon has been practicing since 1976. She was lay ordained by Sojun Mel Weitsman at Berkeley Zen Center in 1985, and received entrustment as a lay teacher from Norman in 2005. She's the author/editor of several Buddhist books, including The Life and Letters of Tofu Roshi, she teaches writing and meditation workshops, and she is committed to joining Buddhist practice with socially engaged work in the world.

Dharma statement: Along with the first noble truth that life is suffering goes the corollary that even when you think you're suffering, you're actually having a good time.
