Supporting the Everyday Zen Foundation
Dana, in Sanskrit and Pali, means generosity, or the practice of giving. In the spirit of giving the teachings freely, Norman makes his talks available for download through this website for no charge other than a recommended donation, and all Everyday Zen workshops and retreats are offered at the lowest possible cost.
The Everyday Zen Foundation pays Norman an annual salary, some of which comes from Norman’s teaching and writing activities, but that alone is not enough. We need additional donations in order to provide Norman with sufficient financial support to enable him to continue teaching full time. We do not hire administrative support, relying instead on friends and board members who volunteer their time to keep the Foundation going, and we keep all other operating expenses at a minimum.
Please help us if you can. We welcome financial donations of any size, at any time. We would also like to encourage Norman's students to consider making regularly scheduled monthly donations, which would help generate a regular and reliable income to support Norman's work and livelihood.
